Ana Ortiz is the co-founder and principal broker of 1st Choice Financial Inc., a South Florida-based mortgage brokerage built on integrity, transparency, and results. With over 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Ana has mastered both the operational and human sides of lending—guiding clients, loan officers, and partners through every stage of the mortgage process with precision and purpose.

Under her leadership, 1st Choice Financial opened its doors in 2024 and quickly established itself as one of Florida’s fastest-growing brokerages. Within its first year, the firm closed over $25 million in production, and by mid-2025 surpassed $49 million across 96 units, earning Ana the 2025 “New Mortgage Broker of the Year” award from the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB).

Ana’s success stems from her deep understanding of both traditional and non-traditional loan programs, including DSCR, Non-QMs, foreign national, construction, FHA,VA, Conventional and commercial lending. Beyond production, she is recognized for her hands-on leadership—building a cohesive, family-driven team culture rooted in mentorship, accountability, and shared growth.
