To ensure compliance with Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) Continuing Education requirements, please review the following information before arriving.

Registration & Check-In -All students must be checked in prior to the start of class. Please arrive early to allow sufficient time for registration.

Please bring: A valid government-issued photo ID and your NMLS Identification Number

These items are required to verify your identity and accurately report your CE credit to NMLS.

Attendance Requirements - NMLS has strict attendance requirements for Continuing Education classes.

• Class begins promptly at 8:00 AM.
• Students arriving 15 minutes or more after the scheduled start time are not eligible to receive NMLS Continuing Education credit. There are no exceptions to this rule.
• Attendance is monitored throughout the day by an assigned FAMP Class Proctor in accordance with NMLS requirements.
• Students are expected to remain present and attentive throughout the entire class, including after breaks and lunch.
• Excessive time away from the classroom may result in the loss of CE credit.

Class Materials - Your course materials are attached to this email. You are encouraged to print the materials and bring them with you. You may also make additional copies for note-taking during class. Having a printed copy will help you follow along with the instructor and participate in classroom discussions.

Also attached is the NMLS Code of Conduct. As part of the registration process, all students will be required to acknowledge that they received and reviewed the Code of Conduct prior to the start of class. This acknowledgment is required as part of FAMP's compliance with NMLS Continuing Education requirements.

Electronic Devices = To comply with NMLS classroom standards and minimize distractions:

• Laptop computers must remain closed during instructional time and may only be used during scheduled breaks and lunch.
• Cell phones should be silenced before class begins.
• If you must take an emergency call, please quietly step outside the classroom.

Classroom Participation - NMLS Continuing Education courses are instructor-led educational programs. Students are expected to:

• Participate in classroom discussions.
• Remain attentive throughout the course.
• Be respectful of the instructor, classmates, and the class proctor.
• Follow all instructions provided by the instructor and class proctor.

Lunch & Breaks - Lunch is included with your registration. Breaks and lunch will be announced by the instructor. Please return promptly after each break so the class remains on schedule and complies with NMLS instructional time requirements.

Dress Comfortably

Meeting room temperatures can vary and classrooms are often kept cool. We recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket for your comfort throughout the day.
